The Prince Of Darkness
I had a personal security detail accompany me into the Richard Perle session at Hay on Wye Festival of Literature.
For a day I manned the barricades, a one man demonstration against this piece of filth, handing out my leaflets and engaging with whoever wanted to chat about the NWO. I then went to go into the festival site as was banned. I then stated I had a ticket and I was deemed such ha threat that two burly blokes marched me in and sat either side of me. They intended to stop me from ‘making a scene’. Which they did. I did not wish to be removed from the interview tent.
Ember
Elf was Kate and she landed at my feet and stayed a while. At that time I was rather keen on Ember, a folk duo from Machynlleth. She made this for me.

Not the first publication I had ever been in but a fine collection from those studying at the University of Glamorgan (now South Wales).
I was on the creative writing course and although enjoying the company and the technical learning there was not much to recommend it.
Cardiff Arts Institute
What a fine city centre bar this was. Unfortunately is was owned by Brains, managed by others, but, ultimately owned by Brains. And Brains destroyed it, turning it into a snobby wine bar instead of the vibrant arts and performance space it once was.

Kerouac’s Dog
Clive, Isobel and myself were all published in this artsy but essentially rip off coffee table magazine, Kerouac’s Dog.
Not a bad success from my writing group, ‘The Goat Writer’s’. We used to meet in The Goat Major don’t you know.
And rip off? Well, the publisher used our content and then wanted £11 a copy to purchase and the quality of binding was a bit shit and likely there was no further distribution…
Sergey Chilikov
We were asked by the lovely folks at Third Floor Gallery to create a hippy happening so that’s exactly what we went and did 🙂 It was an evening of posing by images and having images taken of us. The opening night was very much a success because of our flesh.
